According to Ferrazzi, a crucial trait of effective leaders is the ability to co-develop with their teams. They focus not only on achieving business goals but also on helping team members continuously learn and improve their capabilities.

This helps the team maintain enthusiasm, a sense of responsibility, and contribute more effectively to the organization. For leaders, it's an opportunity to enhance and strengthen their reputation and influence on various levels.

So, how can you foster a spirit of co-development within your team?

Firstly, you need to build a clear vision and a learning culture. Share inspiring personal stories that emphasize the continuous progress and added value that comes from constant learning and development.

Secondly, allocate regular time to listen to career development aspirations and perspectives of team members. Provide constructive feedback, collectively set goals, and establish a clear development path.

Thirdly, create conditions for your team members to access as many learning opportunities as possible:

  • Encourage participation in internal training courses and industry events.

  • Invest in scholarships and reputable external courses.

  • Connect them with experts and reputable mentors for learning and experience-sharing.

  • Provide challenging opportunities to apply knowledge in practical situations.

Finally, don't forget to acknowledge the efforts, progress, and achievements of your team members. This will motivate them to strive even harder on their journey to new heights.

These are some of my perspectives and practical suggestions on how to promote team development. I hope they are beneficial for young leaders aspiring to enhance their leadership capabilities.
